Client

The client is the company  “Embedded Fitness”. What they wanted was a new game for their ongoing project  the “Smart Wall”. The contact person is Joël Huijkelom. The client makes games for elementary school children where they have to physically move to play the game and the game itself is focused on learning.

Description

The game that we made for the client is: a game where a question will appear at the top of the screen underneath said question there are a couple of bubbles with an answer to the question, some of these answers are right and others are wrong, the players will have to throw balls at the bubbles that they think contain(s) the right answer(s). If they hit the right answer the bubble will disappear. If they get all of the correct answers for a question a boss will pop up, if you can hit the boss it will give you points, at the end of the game your score is shown.

Team

We made this game starting as a team of six and eventually we became a team of five, Michelle Broens, Daan Janssen, Danny Lee, Mario Olislaegers en Pedro Santos Marques.

Features

It’s a learning game where moving is also a big factor. The most important thing is to throw your ball at the correct answer to the question above. Because there a multiple answers players will learn more ways to solve one question.

Platform

The platform the game was made for is for PC’s, a Kinect 2 and a beamer to project the game on a white surface (preferably 3mx4m) is also necessary for the game to be played, since the Kinect detects the balls the players throw at a projected image of the game.
