Client Description:

Games4Health is a company that works with people from the healthcare and elderly care. They mainly specialize in creating serious games aimed at promoting health and wellness. The games that they make are designed so that users learn about their illness or other health related topics. These games might even assist in medical training/rehabilitation. They explore applying gaming elements to for example the IC, they are also working with the Catharina hospital in Eindhoven for that. They can create
prototypes for patients in need to help them cope with their disease/illness the patient may
have. Games4Health develops various gaming applications that tackle different aspects of
health, such as fitness, mental health, disease management, and more.

Description of the Assignment

Our client Game4Health wants to create a game for children that are age 6-8 with BBS syndrome.
Bardet-Biedl Syndrome (BBS) is a rare genetic disorder that affects various parts of the body. It
can lead to problems like obesity, vision loss, extra fingers or toes (polydactyl), kidney issues,
and learning difficulties. Since the target audience will experience vision loss in their life in the future, we want to teach them braille with the Hable controller so they can still use their phone when they start to get visually impaired.

Game Description:

You play as a young mage named Lucian to learn spells and skills. During your magical journey you meet various friends and foes. The player will learn the braille alphabet as they progress through the story.
